Enrollment & the GSSP
Please speak with your major adviser or the Director of Graduate Programs about enrolling in courses for the upcoming semester as soon as possible. For the first semester, the Graduate School requires that you enroll in, at least, 9 credit hours (full-time status) in order to remain eligible for the graduate student support plan (assistantship, tuition, health insurance, etc). These minimum required hours decrease as you further in your graduate studies, but graduate students need to be enrolled full-time at all times.
